What is called Web Application
It is a piece of SW which can be accessed using Browser.

What is Browser?
It is an application used to browse oninternet, such as Firefox, IE.


What is Web Server?
It can host multiple Web Applications.
It is Network Application running on a machine and listening a port.
Browser is actually web client or user agent, any application can speak with Server

User Agent: it could be Telnet, CURL not only Browser.
Web Client: It communicates with Web Server. It should be having same setup of grammar, same language to communicate between them.

What is called Protocol?
It is such as: HTTP, FTP, Web Socket
HTTP is mostly used.
What is Web Resources?
Web Resources can be static or dynamic, such as: HTML, PDF,….etc.
