كلية تكنولوجيا المعلومات تنظم ورشة عمل حول التعصب الديني وآثاره المجتمعية

نظمت وحدة شؤون المرأة بالتعاون مع وحدة الإرشاد النفسي والتوجيه التربوي في كلية تكنولوجيا المعلومات ورشة عمل بعنوان "التعصب الديني ودوره في تفكك المجتمع وظهور العنف الطائفي" قدمتها الدكتورة نور فاضل حسين احدى تدريسيات قسم الأمن السيبراني.

تناولت الورشة الأساليب المتاحة لمواجهة التفكير الطائفي في المجتمع العراقي مع التركيز على خصوصية العراق كمجتمع متنوع يتألف من مزيج من القوميات والثقافات. كما تم تسليط الضوء على دور الوعي الفكري والتربوي في تحصين الأفراد ضد خطابات الكراهية والانقسام.

وتهدف الورشة إلى تعزيز قيم الوسطية والاعتدال في الفكر والسلوك، والارتقاء بأساليب التفكير النقدي والقراءة الواعية لدى الشباب، بالإضافة إلى ترسيخ ثقافة أسرية بناءة تسهم في تكوين جيل أكثر وعياً و تسامحاً. كما أكدت الورشة على أهمية القراءة النافعة في حماية المجتمع من الانحرافات السلوكية، بما يعزز تماسك النسيج الاجتماعي ويحد من النزاعات الفكرية.


College of Information Technology Organizes a Workshop on Religious Intolerance and Its Social Impacts

The Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Information Technology, organized a workshop titled "Religious Intolerance and Its Role in Social Fragmentation and Sectarian Violence." The session was delivered by Dr. Noor Fadel Hussein, a faculty member in the Cybersecurity Department.

The workshop explored various strategies to counter sectarian thinking in Iraqi society, emphasizing Iraq’s unique cultural and ethnic diversity. It also highlighted the importance of intellectual and educational awareness in safeguarding individuals from divisive rhetoric and hate speech.

The primary goal of the workshop was to promote moderation and balance in both thought and behavior while encouraging critical thinking and informed reading among young people. Additionally, it aimed to strengthen family values to help shape a more conscious and tolerant generation. The session also underscored the role of constructive reading in protecting society from behavioral deviations, fostering greater social cohesion, and reducing ideological conflicts.
