كلية تكنولوجيا المعلومات تسهم في تحقيق جامعة بابل للمركز الأول في مسابقة التحدي للإبداع و الاستدامة

واصلت كلية تكنولوجيا المعلومات في جامعة بابل تألقها العلمي من خلال مشاركة متميزة في مسابقة التحدي للإبداع والاستدامة الجامعي السنوي الثاني، حيث كان لطلبتها دورٌ محوري في فوز الجامعة بالمركز الأول ضمن المسابقة التي شهدت تنافسًا واسعًا بين الجامعات العراقية.

وجاء هذا الإنجاز عبر مشروع "الزراعة المائية"، الذي تم تصميمه وإعداده ضمن محور التكنولوجيا، بإشراف المعيدة م.مبرمج فاتن علي كنيش من قسم شبكات المعلومات - الدراسة المسائية وبالتعاون مع وحدة الأنشطة الطلابية في جامعة بابل. وشارك في تنفيذ المشروع نخبة من طلبة الكلية الذين عملوا على تطوير حلول تكنولوجية مبتكرة لمكافحة التصحر وترشيد استهلاك المياه وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية مما يعكس التزام الكلية بتسخير التكنولوجيا لخدمة المجتمع وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.

وأكدت كلية تكنولوجيا المعلومات أن هذا الفوز يُضاف إلى سجلها الحافل بالإنجازات العلمية ويعكس تميز طلبتها في المجالات التقنية والبحثية، بالإضافة إلى الدور الفاعل لأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في دعم المشاريع الإبداعية. كما شددت الكلية على استمرارها في تبني المبادرات التكنولوجية التي تسهم في تطوير البحث العلمي وتعزيز الابتكار، بما يعزز من مكانتها بين الكليات الرائدة في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات.

وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن المشروع شارك في تنفيذه الطلبة المدرجة أسماؤهم في الجدول المرفق، حيث شكّلوا فريقًا متكاملاً أسهم في تحقيق هذا الإنجاز، مما يعكس روح العمل الجماعي والإبداع في الكلية.

ويعكس هذا النجاح الرؤية الأكاديمية الطموحة لكلية تكنولوجيا المعلومات، التي تسعى دائمًا إلى تمكين طلبتها من تحويل المعرفة إلى تطبيقات عملية مؤثرة والإسهام في إيجاد حلول تقنية تخدم المجتمع وتواكب التطورات العالمية في مجال التكنولوجيا.

College of Information Technology Contributes to the University of Babylon’s First-Place Victory in the Challenge for Innovation and Sustainability Competition

The College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon continues to shine academically through its outstanding participation in the Second Annual University Challenge for Innovation and Sustainability. The college’s students played a pivotal role in securing the university’s first-place victory in this prestigious competition, which witnessed intense competition among Iraqi universities.

This remarkable achievement was realized through the “Hydroponic Farming” project, designed and developed under the Technology category. The project was supervised by Assistant Programmer Faten Ali Kanish from the Department of Information Networks (Evening Studies), in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit at the University of Babylon. A select group of students from the college actively contributed to the project, working on innovative technological solutions to combat desertification, optimize water consumption, and promote environmental sustainability. Their efforts reflect the college’s commitment to leveraging technology for societal benefit and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The College of Information Technology emphasized that this victory adds to its distinguished track record of academic excellence, showcasing its students outstanding capabilities in technical and research fields. The achievement also highlights the essential role of faculty members in supporting creative projects. The college reaffirmed its commitment to fostering technological initiatives that drive scientific research and innovation, further solidifying its position as a leader in the field of Information Technology.
